In order that the wines of the Malepére conform to the " Appellation
d'Origine Vin Délimité de Qualité Supérieure " the wines must
:
be
produced from land within the defined limits of the Malepère
zone. have a density of, at least, 3300 vines per hectacre &
be in their third year following plantation.
be produced from a blend, of at least two different grape varieties,
that comply with the permitted
vines for this appellation
produce
a minimum natural alcoholic content of 11%. |
The quantity
produced per hectare is 50 hectolitre.
The maximum yield per annum is 61hl/ha
The issuing of the official label, which is the guarantee of wines
origin & quality, is dependant on the sampling & analysis of the
wine.
