circular village route
It
is a captivating village, which has an unusual green church tower
that can be seen from far away, built on 11th century foundations.
There is a fortified entrance, la porte Aiguières, leading onto
a narrow path that climbs to an ancient mill. Panoramic view. The
watchtower is well placed ! Native town of the painter, Achille
Laugé. 
ALAIGNE
The
Saint Laurent church & its bell wall/tower dominates the hills of
the Razès. This 13th century fortified church is the largest in
the Razès (17th century Baroque altarpiece). Château Renaissance
