The Malepère Massif, which lends its name to the region, is the junction of all the different landscapes.

The Massif benefits from a climate that is the result of mediterranean, oceanic & pyreneen influences. This unusual climate, the different types of soils, the relief of the land & the aspect of the slopes encourage a rich vegetation (kermès oak, green oak, beech, hazel) that alternates between woods, fields & vines forming a wonderful mosaic.
A flora, highly estimated by botanists for its rare plants, has colonised the Massif. The presence of crop cultivation allows the protected ornithological species (birds of prey) to exist & they demonstrate the exceptional quality of this environment. The crop cultivation grown on the lower slopes, & the wild plants in the more hilly central part, that culminates at Mont Naut, 442m, makes the Malepère Massif the privileged domaine of the wild boar.

Grown in the shelter of their Massif, the great wines of the Côtes de Malepère that are the product of the knowledge & passion of their producers, with their red fruit flavours & hints of vanilla, will delight you ...
